"This documentary project is part of a national documentary series about people doing good in their state, originally created by a company out of New York called Radical Media. This is not just a scene—it is the complete film. I wrote, directed, shot, and edited each film.

The vision for this film is as powerful as it is simple. This short documentary is an exceptional, deeply moving statement focusing on the raw, unfiltered beauty of the human spirit overcoming adversity. The title comes from the name of the featured subject of the film, also the Co-Director, William Howard (better known as Arrow). In the film, Arrow states, “My name is Arrow. And I’m moving forward. And my target is love.”

My scene is an introduction to the main character. It opens up with him overhearing a man and woman talking. Jason (main character) is nosey and goes over to the woman when the man leaves. He points out a detail about the guy that she might not have noticed. He lets her know that the guy is most likely married. The woman is shocked but also grateful to Jason for letting her know.

I wrote, directed, shot, and edited each film (5 in total). Each story was focused on a different person who makes a difference in a unique way. This story is about Susan Mitchell, president of US Horse Rescue and Welfare.

A private moment between two brothers who are slowly becoming two different people without knowing it. Kai confronts Jett about being distracted at work and traces it back to Paige, Jett’s girlfriend. What starts as a Vanguard intervention slowly becomes something more personal — Jett opening up about what Paige means to him and Kai listening as a friend before redirecting him back toward duty. The scene lives in the tension between genuine brotherhood and ideological enforcement. Kai loves Jett. 

When Prohibition hits Martha's Vineyard (in the 1920's), a former whaler adapting to a world of obsolete maritime skills transforms his failing salvage business into an elaborate rum-running operation, assembling a network of island misfits to outmaneuver the law, outsmart nature, and prove that on this island, evolution favors the clever, not the compliant.
