SHE CRIES MURDER - INVESTIGATOR IN THE MARKET
My scene is an introduction to the main character. It opens up with him overhearing a man and woman talking. Jason (main character) is nosey and goes over to the woman when the man leaves. He points out a detail about the guy that she might not have noticed. He lets her know that the guy is most likely married. The woman is shocked but also grateful to Jason for letting her know. Jason then walks up to the counter to pay for his coffee. He has a conversation with the store owner. This establishes that he is friendly with the owner and is loyal to the store. Jason then goes outside where he see the couple arguing. The woman points out to the man that he has a mark around his ring finger. Jason goes over and offers his private investigator services before wishing the couple a lovely weekend.
It's a fun scene that establishes who the main character is and what he's all about.
