LOGLINE: In a future city where memories are rewritten to preserve order, a rising leader's buried past begins to surface where he must expose the truth before an entire population is permanently rewired.
Re-Wired is an independent science-fiction feature film created, directed, shot, edited, and visually-effects-driven by Brandon Paglia through Paglia Studios. Shot on location across Rhode Island and Connecticut, the project stands out as an ambitious, tightly knit indie production built by a small core crew.
The Core Premise & Synopsis
Set in a stark, highly controlled future city, Re-Wired takes place in a society where memories are systematically rewritten and manipulated to preserve social order and suppress dissent.
The narrative follows a rising leader within this structure whose life and worldview are upended when fragments of his own buried, unedited past begin to surface. As these suppressed memories break through the artificial conditioning, he faces a high-stakes dilemma: he must uncover and expose the hidden truth of the system before an upcoming mandate permanently "rewires" the cognitive freedom of the entire population.
